Coconut oil
This is the oil we produce. We press it ourselves from whole Volta Region coconuts, bottle it, use it as the base of our hair products, and supply it in large quantity to other companies. It is the same oil that carried BeaCoPure to first place in the Social Impact Enterprise Track of the 2026 McGill Dobson Cup, out of 64 startups.
It is also a serious hair oil. Research published in the Journal of Cosmetic Science found that coconut oil, applied before or after washing, reduced protein loss from hair while mineral oil and sunflower oil did not, because lauric acid penetrates the hair shaft instead of coating it.
